The hotel, Villa des Artistes, was wonderful–perfectly located near Metro and bus stops. And there were three restaurants in the same block (one right next door!) that we went to twice! Next time you’re recommending our hotel, give high ratings to:: Niebe (African/French…wonderful), Esttia (next door…best veal ever); and Wagda. To have had such wonderful restaurants steps away from where we were staying was terrific. So we did do the boat trip and used the Metro pass (but walked much, more often than rode). The guy who picked us up at the airport arrived late (said he was there all the time and we didn’t see him….but….); the fellow who took us back to the airport was on time and a great driver.
Weather (Michael) caused a delay in getting to Charlotte on the way back (long story), but we were able to catch the last flight out of Charlotte to Cincinnati and were home by midnight. What we learned here, was to always take a direct flight (okay, so we knew this, but had been spoiled living in NYC).
So bottom line is thank you! A wonderful trip. Now, next stop is Amsterdam (next year, with our pals).

Hi Jamie! I hope you are doing well. It hard to believe I was still in Europe at this time last week. It already seems so long ago.
Ok, let me give you the run down…first you did a fabulous job really listening to what we wanted to do on the trip and the entire process was so smooth and easy. All transfers ran smoothly, it was so nice not to have to think about any of that. Thank you!Favorite city…Dublin. We hopped on the Dart spend a day in Howt, which is amazing, even though Kurtis tricked me into hiking a mountain. Just beautiful though. We used more cabs there then I would have preferred, because the hotel was a bit out of the way. Super cute hotel though, staff and food were great. Not much around there though. The tour to Blarney was great too.Edinburgh was nice. Poor Kurtis got suckered into a few Harry Potter chases, but we enjoyed the castle and palace. I think we both agree it would have been nice to be outside the city after the first day. The hotel was precious, but the location was out-of-the way again. More importantly though, we were on the first floor right across from the housekeeping closet and off the lobby. It was extremely noisy.London’s hotel wins the best of the trip award. It was so quiet and we were finally able to sleep after Edinburgh. Good location between two tube stations. We were only able to breakfast there once due to tour and departure times but the food was decent. We definitely accomplished our goal of being able to wonder for place to place and talk to new people. We found the oldest pubs in Edinburgh & London and had some great food. Kurtis is more adventurous than me and ate lamb liver and onions & ox cheek as well as the “normal” local fair. We could not have asked for better weather either. Blue skies and sun most days in the 60’s. The Tube Map app was a life saver in London; a must for travelers. We really enjoyed the train ride to London along the cost. It gave us a chance to see the countryside. Just beautiful! Thanks so much for everything, it was a wonderful trip!

I wanted to Thank YOU for working with me and Diana on our trip to Punta Cana. We had a great time and with your hard work we were in room 5031 (Building 50) as we wanted. We will be going again so keep some room on your calendar for us. Thanks again.

Mark, Thank you for a wonderful tour of Ireland. Your services and those of our tour company, were superb. It was our first time in Ireland and the first time using a tour guide. It all went without a hitch! I will certainly use your services again!
